Access to Miele Germany’s product information now exclusively via Tradeplace

The German subsidiary of the premium domestic appliances manufacturer Miele has selected Tradeplace for its Product Information Management system (PIMS) in communications with retailers. Miele Germany chose Tradeplace’s PIMS because it could meet all the manufacturer’s requirements when sharing product information with retailers such as the correct formats and all necessary features for showcasing a premium brand.

Retailers receive enhanced product information support with PIMS

Miele Germany especially wanted to get the right product information in the right format and widely available for every retailer. Miele Germany can now offer a variety of data formats to support the product information on-boarding process. Trade partners can update their back-end systems in the same way they did previously on the Tradeplace platform and connect with Miele to receive the right product information directly in their marketing and sales process.

Premium brand showcasing in every channel

Miele also needed to be able to provide retailers with sufficient high-resolution images, extensive product descriptions, and product information that is 100% accurate. Tradeplace was able to meet all of Miele Germany’s requirements when communicating product information to retailers thanks to PIMS.

And PIMS offers more

Tradeplace’s PIMS allows manufacturers to share accurate and up-to-date product information with retailers, and is free of charge for retailers. All product information originates with the manufacturer which is considered industry-wide to be the most reliable.

How it works

The way it works is simple: manufacturers upload their complete product information to Tradeplace and retailers can download what they need in the format of their choosing. All information is available in a multitude of flexible formats and requires no extra effort from manufacturers.
