April marked a major milestone for Tradeplace as we saw a significant surge in the use of our digital platforms across Europe. From explosive growth in Content Hub downloads to a record number of transactions on Message Hub, it’s clear that retailers and suppliers are embracing smarter, faster ways to share and access data. Koen van der Post, Operations Manager at Tradeplace, shares the highlights of this pivotal month—and what it means for the future.
“April was a milestone month for us.” says Koen. “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗯 users in 32 countries downloaded over 44,000 catalogues — in 27 different languages. That really shows how the demand for quality, accessible product data is shared throughout Europe.”
The Message Hub platform saw equally impressive growth. “On the 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗯 side, the momentum is just as clear: users sent over 40 million transactions in one month alone, compared to just over 26 million in April last year.”
Another major achievement was the successful migration of over 30,000 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗛𝘂𝗯 users to a new, upgraded platform. “You’ll understand, we’ve been quite busy making improvements for customers and users alike,” Koen adds.
These milestones all point to one clear trend: retailers are embracing electronic data sharing like never before.
