Digital Sales Assistant Configuration in CARAT
This article explains the configuration process for the Digital Sales Assistant extension in CARAT step by step, detailing also how to seamlessly integrate it with your existing workflow.
With this interface to Tradeplace’s Digital Sales Assistant, your product range is displayed with your prices directly in CARAT at any time. You can conveniently search for articles in the DSA and import them directly into CARAT Planning.
Starting the Digital Sales Assistant from CARAT
Note: You must first open a plan to be able to operate on the DSA.
- You must start by planning kitchen furniture as usual, including appliance cabinets.
Example: - In the menu (ribbon bar) “Manufacturer” you will find an entry “Configurator”.
- Click on the configurator icon to open a new window.

Note: You will be asked to log in the first time you call it up. Please enter here your credentials for the Digital Sales Assistant.

Planning Appliances
Once logged in you’ll see the complete spread of products available to replace the placeholders on the opened planned kitchen.
- Search and select the required appliances on the DSA, you can filter them by entering the desired categories or using the search bar to enter the desired product code, GTIN or a keyword.
- To add the appliance correctly, click on the “Add to Comission” button beneath each product.
- Select the placeholder that you would like to replace or add the item as an “Additional product”.
- Close the configurator when you have finished selecting products.
- The selected products are transferred to your CARAT planning.
If you want to change or remove items you must open the configurator. The editing and deletion function in CARAT Planning is blocked, this can be opened again at any time before ordering.
Orders are placed as usual using the familiar CARAT Planning functions
