Impressive results after two-year pilot

After a successful two-year pilot project with Tradeplace, Elkjøp, the largest online retailer in the Nordics and a subsidiary of Dixons Carphone plc, has decided to expand its cooperation with the platform.

Initially involved small and medium household appliances only

During the pilot, every supplier of medium domestic appliances (MDA) and small domestic appliances (SDA) to the online retailer was asked to provide Elkjøp’s preferred service provider, Tradeplace, with their most recent product information. Product information from manufacturers is regarded by the industry as the most reliable and up-to-date and is therefore highly valued by retailers.

Elkjøp is guaranteed the latest product information with the Tradeplace PIMS service so that it can pass it on to consumers during the decision-making process while purchasing a product.

 

All product categories will now be included

The two-year pilot was so successful that Elkjøp has decided to take the project to the next phase. Tradeplace will now support manufacturers’ product information for all product categories on Elkjøp. This step will provide Elkjøp’s online shoppers with the latest and most dependable product information the market can provide.

The expansion of this partnership brings mutual advantages to both suppliers and the online retailer. New suppliers are guaranteed a smooth and simple onboarding process thanks to intelligent processing of multiple data sources with an option for manual correction and enriching data.
